Hace algún tiempo se viene demostrando que muchos usuarios de windows dejan este sistema operativo por GNU/linux por el solo hecho de que en sistemas GNU/Linux tiene el famoso y siempre bien ponderado Compiz Fusion, el cual deja tu escritorio con muchos efectos visuales que puedes utilizar con tan solo 32MB de vídeo y un “poco” de DRI (Direct Rendering), para quienes no sabian, Compiz Fusión esta programado en C y trabaja directamente con nuestra VGA o Tarjeta de Vídeo lo cual lo hace muy liviano para trabajar y hace uso mínimo de nuestro procesador pero ahora la ultima novedad que nos llega es que Compiz Fusión se pasara a C++, un lenguaje de programación un poco mas avanzado que C, el cual nos ayudara a mejorar el rendimiento de Compiz Fusión.

En Resumen:

Compiz ++ una nueva rama surgida a partir de Compiz Fusión que mantiene separadas las capas OpenGL y de Composición, con lo que podríamos utilizar este gestor incluso si nuestra tarjeta gráfica y sus controladores no la soporten.

Una de las desventajas que tendría Compiz++ es que no posee soporte multimonitor, por lo que se tendría que ejecutar un Compiz++ en cada monitor según sea el caso.

Para programar Compiz++ se utilizó C++, lo que se traduciría en diversas ventajas para los desarrolladores detrás del proyecto.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
