Modificar el Arranque de Ubuntu con StartUp Manager

StartUp Manager es una aplicación gráfica que nos ayuda a configurar el arranque de nuestra máquina.

Podemos seleccionar el/los sistemas operativos que deseamos que aparezcan en el grub – lo que realiza cambios en el archivo menu.lst – y también podemos agregar una imagen en nuestra pantalla de inicio – usplash. De éste modo, podemos cambiar algunas de las opciones mas comunes del arranque de nuestro sistema, para hacerlo simplemente mas agradable a nuestra vista.

Los usuarios de Windows pueden descargar StartUp Manager aquí

Para quienes utilizan Linux es tan sencillo como abrir una consola (Aplicaciones -> Accesorios -> Terminal) y tipear el comando sudo apt-get install startupmanager

Y para ejecutarlo en consola tipeas

user@user: ~$ startupmanager

Basta con reiniciar para ver los cambios en tu arranque.
