GnoMenu es una alternativa más que disponen los usuarios de Gnome para tener un menú en el panel desde donde lanzar aplicaciones, navegar por los últimos documentos abiertos, etc.

La aplicación se ha actualizado a su versión 1.9.96 y se puede instalar en Karmic mediante este paquete deb:

gnomenu_1.9.96-0~ppa1_all.deb

Otra opción de instalación es agregar el repositorio del PPA e instalar a través del mismo, manteniéndonos así actualizados a la última versión. Para esto abrimos un Terminal y:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnomenu-team
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install gnomenu
