Wordpress 3.0 retrasa su salida

WordPress es un excelente CMS, una plataforma versátil que se utiliza desde sitios de comercio electrónicos hasta fotoblogs, y que es nuestra base aquí en Hipertextual. Cada nueva versión es recibida con alegría por la comunidad que gira en torno a ella, y por lo general lo esperamos con ansias. Pero esta vez, nos toca esperar un poco más.

El desarrollo de Worpdress 3.0 está yendo un poco más lento de lo esperado, y el lanzamiento de la versión final no llegaría sino hasta mediados de mayo. Esto se debe, por ejemplo, a que el 45% de los tickets de problemas a solucionar en la versión pre-lanzamiento siguen abiertos. Esto, de todas formas, nos da un vistazo sobre el tipo de comunidad que tiene WordPress, comprometida a probar, reportar y solucionar.

Entre las novedades que se vienen para WordPress 3.0 se incluyen algunos cambios muy esperados, como la eliminación del usuario Admin (que ha ocasionado problemas de seguridad más de una vez), la fusión de WordPress con WordPress MU en una sola plataforma y un nuevo diseño de escritorio entre otras.
